Norman Broadbent announced that it appointed Steve Smith as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Norman Broadbent said Smith will take charge on 30 March, replacing Will Gerrand who announced he would step down as CFO last month to pursue other business interests.
The Oasis and Warehouse Group has today announced (10 March) that Paula Stewart, managing director of Warehouse is promoted to the newly created role of chief product officer for the Group. In addition, Matt Robinson, group finance director is promoted to chief financial officer for the Group. Both promotions come into effect immediately with Paula and Matt both reporting to Group CEO, Hash Ladha. Robinson joined the Group in 2007 before becoming head of finance for Oasis and Warehouse in 2013 and finance director in 2014. Robinson has strategically led the business transformation projects in recent months. property, IT and distribution will now also report to Robinson in addition to the Finance teams.
Carousel has appointed Nigel Ward as its new CFO. The Kent-headquartered European service-logistics provider is backed by Livingbridge. Ward joins the organisation from business services provider Kindertons and takes on the responsibility of Carousel’s financial reporting and strategic investment relationships across Europe. As a member of the firm's Executive Board, he will also take a lead role in expanding the company, and its European proposition, through both organic growth and acquisition opportunities.
